January 17, 2008 - Eagles Forum Launched….. The Fairfax Eagles are pleased to announce the launch of the Eagles Forum, a place for Eagles fans, players, and club administrators to post questions, event information, team news, and/or pretty much anything related to the Fairfax Eagles, the AMNRL, or the game of rugby league. January 25, 2008 - Eagles Secure Major Sponsor for 2008….. The Eagles are pleased to announce Pabst Blue Ribbon (PBR) as the club’s major sponsor for 2008. PBR is part of the Pabst Brewing Company range that includes 24 other beers including Old Milwaukee, Colt 45, National Bohemian (Natty Bo), Schlitz, and Stag. PBR is a “classic American Brew” and has been around since 1895. The famous PBR logo will be displayed on the club’s playing shirts and shorts this season, and PBR will be the official beer of the Fairfax Eagles.

January 30, 2008 - Head Coach Announcement….. The Fairfax Eagles have named Tom Reed as Head Coach for the upcoming 2008 season. Tom brings a wealth of playing and coaching experience to the club following previous stints with Northampton Saints RUFC, London Broncos RLFC, Lyon RLFC, Central Tigers RLFC, North Queensland Cowboys RLFC, PAC Rugby, and the George Washington University. Tom hails from London, England, and is level-2 certified with the English Rugby Union. The Eagles are continuing to search for assistant coaches with appointments expected within the next few weeks.
